My passion for finding interesting design elements led me to a new career when I decided to open a curated design and decor “boutique” where guests could shop and be inspired.  I knew that I wanted to offer a cheerful mix of fresh design and quality products,  and to be that special store where our customers could find the perfect mix of merchandise they can’t find in other furniture stores or gift boutiques. Today I am blessed with a truly amazing team of very special ladies,  two gorgeous furniture boutiques, a fabulous e-commerce site and wonderful clients who charge me with seeking out the very best in design elements that make their home special. Design is a journey of discovery, and I’ve discovered a lot!”

"When people ask me what I do, I generally tell them that I get to play with pattern and color everyday. But the reality is, everyday at Bayberry Cottage offers something totally different than the day before. I work directly with design clients and customers, offering inspiration, ideas and solutions. I design custom furniture and built-ins. I work on the floor, creating, sometimes over-the-top, vignettes (the most fun) to wow and inspire our guests. I work behind the scenes in project management, low level tech support and copywriting. And, yes, I play with pattern and color everyday.
